Summary:
The aim of this course is to show and demonstrate entrepreneurial skills and creativity through non-formal education. Young people from 7 different countries will get together to learn about business development and to look at how to develop their ideas.
Target group: Youth workers, Trainers, Youth leaders, Project managers, Youth Policy Makers, EVS mentors/tutors, young people who wants to work with young people and interested in the topic of business development.
For participants from: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Estonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Turkey, United Kingdom.
Group size: 32 participants
Details:
The project aims to work with young people and youth workers to support them to develop entrepreneurial skill, build and develop a business model and engage them with the Youth in Action programme. The project will engage the participants on two levels, one teaching young people the skills needed to become an entrepreneur, and two, demonstrating to youth workers how to create such projects in their own communities. The young people will hopefully continue to be engaged as a positive role models to other young people by supporting the development of this process in their own communities.
The main objectives of the training course are:
• Teaching young people the creative skills needed to become an entrepreneur;
• Demonstrating to youth workers how to create such projects in their own communities;
• Linking young people and youth workers up with inspiring local entrepreneurs as examples of successful business starters;
• Demonstrate project management skills, business theory and marketing techniques;
• Confidence building, presentations skills and self-promotion;
• Highlight funding opportunities for activity with young people such as the YiA programme.
Costs:
Our organisation will cover participant’s trainings fee, full board accommodation as well as visa costs and 70% of your travel cost.
Working language: English.
