“Strategy for Inclusion” is a Partnership Building Activity for 24 youth workers and active volunteers of associations involved in youth work coming from 8 EU countries (Italy, France, Estonia, Lithuania, Turkey, Austria, Hungary and Poland) willing to cooperate in future on common project representing an opportunity to develop the European Cooperation in youth field as aim of the project is to reinforce the partnership in the framework of Youth in Action Programme and to discuss and to define common quality criteria, values and work methods based on Inclusion Strategy for further more inclusive project of youngster with fewer opportunities for inclusion for all! The project will be based on active participation and non formal education methods. Each partner will actively take part to the project with its contributions and experience sharing best practices and innovative tools improving the quality of the youth work and youth activities and there will be discussion about values and way of working to define a common “Youth Workers Charter” to be adopted by the partners in the follow-up projects. In this way the project will improve the quality of the youth work and youth activities facilitating the international cooperation. In particular the participants will discuss how to use Youth In Action as a tool for Inclusion of youngster with fewer opportunities, how to reinforce the recognition to their learning outcomes through Youthpass Certificate and to transfer it also out of non formal education context and into the job market and in general how to facilitate the involvement and the active participation of the youth with fewer opportunities. As one of the aim of this project is to reinforce the partnership, discuss and define common quality criteria, values and work methods based on Inclusion Strategy, this call is open for high motivated participants who are interested and motivated to the project. Please note that EVS volunteers cannot be included as participants in this project as they are already receiving funding from the Youth in Action programme and this type of double funding is not allowed under the rules of the programme.
Costs:
Accommodation, meals, participation and working material are financed by the Italian National Agency of the Youth in Action Programme. The travel costs will be reimbursed 70% according to the Youth in Action regulations.
