Summary:
Discover 2 Inspire: Youth for Sustainable Living in Dundee, Scotland - a conference which aims to raise awareness and engagement of young people in the field of sustainability. Youth in Action project.

Details:
We are looking for young people aged between 18 and 26 across Europe who will apply their knowledge, skills and experience, in order to identify how the youth could be actively involved to change people’s behavior, so that we can promote and ensure sustainability. The idea of the conference is to move away from the negative wording of climate change and focus on how the youth could influence the perception of sustainability in the society and inspire individuals to have a more sustainable lifestyle. The end result of the project will several friendly, easy to understand videos, which will include a simple step by step process on how to change your lifestyle to have a more sustainable future.
Costs:
The project has been approved for funding under the Youth in Action Programme of the European Commission, therefore the following will be provided to residents of Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Romania, Spain, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
1. 70% of travel costs of return tickets for the event will be covered.
2. Accommodation, food, a social program and a participant’s pack for the full duration of the conference will be provided.
3. Each participant resident of those countries will pay 35 pounds participation fee.
